Laupäeval, 15. oktoobril on Eesti helilooja ja Eesti Muusika Päevade ellukutsuja Jaan Räätsa 90. sünniaastapäev. Sel puhul toimub Mustpeade majas kontsert “Autoritund”, kus Räätsa loomingust annavad ülevaate klaveriduo Johan Randvere ja Jakob Teppo, Tallinna Kammerorkester ja dirigent Rasmus Puur.

The Concerto for Chamber Orchestra No. 1 Op. 16, Part I (composed by Räätsa's student Mihkel Kerem) will be performed by the string quartet Prezioso.
"Tokaata" and a selection from the work "24 marginalia" will be performed on piano by Johan Randvere. The composer and the success of his work on the world stage will be recalled by renowned performers Matti Reimann and Peeter Paemurru, long-time lecturers at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. The concert-lecture will be moderated by Maret Tomson, teacher, author and student of Jaan Räätsa at the Viljandi Music School. The lecture-concert "Jaan Rääts 90", the thesis of a student of cultural management at the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy, is being held in cooperation with Tallinn Central Library in view of the current Year of Libraries. |
